Lois' Story:
'In response to your request for
pictures and info ... The Piggyback Cat is a Thimbleberries pattern
from last year (2007). Thank you for having most of the
Thimbleberries fabrics. It is much more charming made up than in any
picture that I have seen!
The Hot Stuff potholder pattern is
wonderful. As you can see, I made one from the RJR Toil &
Trouble fat quarter that you sent me, complimentary. That was very
special. Thank you. The spider web fabric is from a Maywood
collection, which I thought was fun.
I will re-visit Aunt Bea's
website often to see what you have in store for us. Thank you for a
very pleasant experience!'

Pat's story...
"I am a traditional quilter so this is my first step into an
art type
quilt. All the fabric came from my stash.
I made the quilt in 2007 and entered it in my local county
fair,
winning first place for wall hangings.
One of my local quilt shops had a Quilt show this spring and
much to my surprise it won favorite quilt honor.
For this surprise I was awarded a $1400 sewing machine.
So I encourage all of you to try stepping out of your comfort
zone sometime. Good things happen."

Sandy's story...
"My sister had just been placed on Army
Reserves
active duty and was sent to Ft. Lewis, WA. Her
husband remained back here in PA. I decided it was a
good time for her to learn how to hand piece quilt blocks.
She thought I was crazy! She did persevere and made
her 12 blocks. At the same time I was also making 12 blocks. I mixed 6 of her blocks and 6 of mine. I made
two "Sisters" Christmas quilts.
The two quilts are identical. The center portion of the
front is from Thimbleberries "Sunshine
Porch." I hope you enjoy seeing the results."
